Kad jūs atbraucot iesiet ārā no lidostas, pie jums pienāks taksometru šoferi, piedāvājot aizvest. Iespējams, labāk nepaļauties uz viņiem. Labāk pasūtiet taksometru pie viena no oficiālajiem stendiem. Tie ir MPT TAXI, SAWA TAXI un MERC TAXI. Airport Pickup Service
Lai arī tās nav lētākās, šīs kompānijas jūs nepiekrāps. Faktiski - brauciet vienmēr ar to taksometru, kuram ir logo vai nosaukums, jo šie taksometri ir reģistrēti kompānijās, kuras atbild par savu šoferu darbu. Cena no lidostas līdz vecpilsētai (tarifs 1 - dienas laikā) ir ap 40 PLN (10 Eur). Nelegālie šoferi var pacelt cenu līdz pat 120 PLN (30 Eur).
Autobuss
Autobusa pietura atrodas tieši pretim taksometru stāvvietai. Autobuss nr. 175 aizvedīs jūs līdz vecpilsētai. Jūs varat nopirkt biļeti pie vadītāja (3,00 zl) vai lidostas ēkā (kas ir ieteicams, ja nerunājat poliski). Ja jums ir liela soma, nopērciet otru biļeti, tādēļ ka biļešu kontrolieriem patīk šis autobuss un, ja kādam nav biļetes, tas ir labs iemesls pieprasīt soda naudas samaksu.
Transport to the Old Town from the train station
Ja iziesiet cauri pazemes pārejai galvenās ielas (Al. Jerozolimskie) otrā pusē un aiziesiet līdz autobusu pieturai pie Marriot viesnīcas, tur apstājas autobuss nr. 175. Pietura, kurā jāizkāpj, saucas Ul. Miodowa.

Always try to get to Aleje Jerozalimskie (a very long avenue) and drive eastwards. You can get to this street along Al. Krakowska (starts at suburb Janki) and then Grojecka. Driving along Aleje Jerozolimskie you pass the Palace of Culture on your left and at Rondo (roundabout) R. Dmowskiego (there is tall Novotel hotel on your right and the large department store GALERIA CENTRUM on your left). On this roundabout you turn left and go along Galeria Centrum and Empik (on your right) up to McDonalds (direction north). At the McDonald´s turn right into Swietokrzyska, go through three successive streetlights and at the crossroads with Krakowskie PrzedmieÅ›cie/Nowy Swiat you turn left (it is behind the large ministery building on your left) into famous Krakowskie PrzedmieÅ›cie avenue. Continue up to the Bristol Hotel and the Presidential Palace. Behind this palace please search already for a parking space (optimally at the meter next to the Mickiewicz Statue). Our office is in the lane Kozia on your left (the first gate).

This is easy as you go always straight: Warszawska Street turns into Gorczewska and finally merges with Alej Solidarnosci. You cross Plac Bankowy and shortly afterwards turn right to Bielanska to get to the Theatre Square. At the square you turn left and from Senatorska you turn right into Kozia Street and park in front of our office.

Like coming from west, you also have to get to Al. Solidarności, from Gdansk through Marymoncka and Alej Jana Pawła II. From Plac Bankowy the same instructions as before. If you have to cross the river (you are coming from the east) just drive until you reach Alej Solidarności, cross the Vistula River, go through the tunnel under the Plac Zamkowy. Then immediately drive up to your right (Kapucynska) and in Miodowa (the main street) turn right going forward to Krakowskie Przedmieście where you can already park at Kozia Street.
